A couple of months ago your super-accurate scribe reported the doings of Ophthalmologist Dick KochmaD, who passed along some news on Stuart Fordyce. Here's Stu's reaction: "Was surprised to read in the '53 class notes that 'l'm running Union Carbide's Cleveland research effort.' I fear Dick Kochman was victimized by poor penmanship and, dare I suggest, poorly fitted spectacles. In fact, I left Union Carbide four years ago and I am now running a research effort for N.A.S.A.-Lewis Research Center. I am head of the Electrochemical Fundamentals Section and have responsibility for a healthy piece of the action in high energy batteries, fuel cells, etc. Just to set the record straight. Cheers!!"
