In The Antiques Journal (Dubuque, Iowa) appear "Cheese-Making Implements of Long Ago" (June issue) and "Geographies of Yesterday" (July), both articles by J. Almus Russell '20. He is also author of "Lucy Larcom's New Hampshire Poem" in New Hampshire Profiles (August) and "Save the Wetlands" in the PennsylvaniaGame News (September).

Harland Manchester '21 has written "Now They're Herding Catfish: A New Breed of Farmers Has Found a Popular—and Profitable—Crop in This Taste Staple of Southern Cuisine," which appeared originally in Shreveport Magazine and was reprinted in condensed form in the June issue of Reader'sDigest.

"Elegance in Dining" in the Fall issue of Gentleman's Quarterly; "Wine Cellars for $25, $50, and $100" in Apartment Ideas (September); and "Brandies and Liqueurs" in House Beautiful (September) are all by Robert Jay Misch '25.

"Comeback of a Heavyweight," a story of the Chautauqua muskellunge, by Cecil E. Heacox '26 appeared in the July issue of Outdoor Life.

In Vol. XII, Number 1, 1971 of TheNumismatic Review, James C. Risk '37 has written an article, "Auction Complexities," and a review of Numismatic Art in America by Cornelius Vermuele.

To the June issue of Public UtilitiesFortnightly the Honorable John N. Nassikas '38, Chairman of the Federal Power Commission, has contributed "National Energy and Environmental Policy."

A member of Eastman Kodak Research Laboratories, Chester R. Berry '40 is coauthor of two articles: "Optical Absorption of Small Silver Spheres in Water" in the June issue of Journal of Applied Physics and "Cross Sections for Absorption and Scattering of Clumps of Filamentary Silver" in the May-June issue of Photographic Science andEngineering.

Barry A. Marks '47 has contributed to the February issue of Business Horizons an article entitled "Decision Under Uncertainty: A Poet's View" and to the February issue of ADE: Bulletin of the Association ofDepartments of English an article entitled "The New Ph.D. in Literary Studies at the American University."

The April 1971 issue of American PaperIndustry has printed the address given at the PIMA Meeting at Bretton Woods, N. H., in 1970 by Charles B. Buchanan '53, President of the Appleton Wire Works Corporation.

"Estimating the Parameters of a Linear Function or a Random Variable" is the title of an article appearing in the Journal of theRoyal Statistical Society, Series B, Vol. 32, 1970. Stanley L. Sclove '62, of the Department of Statistics, Carnegie-Mellon University, is the co-author.

Appearing in The Numismatic Review, Vol. XII, Number 1, 1971, is "The Modernization of Islamic Coinage Types," by Captain J. Eric Engstrom '65.
