The Rochester Club had a very busy spring program. In late March the Giee Club made its biennial visit. Through the efforts of Co-Chairmen Bob Brown '60 and Staff Krause '57, a profit of $400 was realized which was added to the Rochester Regional Scholarship Fund.

On April 6, President Kemeny visited Rochester for a luncheon meeting at the Country Club of Rochester. President Kemeny discussed coeducation and other current problems. As a result of the efforts of Chairman Bob Paterson '64, this was a memorable event for the large number of alumni and friends in attendance.

The Annual Dinner in May was well attended and Chairman Chet Gale '55 prepared an excellent program. Professor Henry Roberts of the History Department and Fred Eidlin '64, who recently spent nine months as a political prisoner in Czechoslovakia, were the speakers. Mr. Eidlin's narration of the events leading to his arrest and his subsequent experiences were particularly interesting.

The election of officers for the coming year resulted in the following: President, Frank Strong '56; Vice President, JohnSchlachtenhaufen '6l; Secretary, BruceCampbell '64 Treasurer, Bob Brown '60; Assistant Secretary, Dick Portland '58; Assistant Treasurer, Dave Vaules '60; Enrollment, Vin Tibbals '42; Enrollment, Mike Buckley '65; Scholarship Fund, Donn Hill '54. Don Hill '54, chairman of the Scholarship Fund, reported that operations during the past year resulted in $2,600 being added to the Rochester Regional Scholarship Fund. The principal of this fund has now reached $27,800, which is a tribute to Donn's efforts and the many club members whose contributions support this deserving program.

After a relaxing summer the club is looking forward to an active fall program.

Don Hill '54, chairman of the RochesterClub's scholarship fund committee, presents a $400 addition to President Kemeny. Looking on is Bob Brown '60, co-chairman of profitable Glee Club concert.
