The Dartmouth Club of Mexico turned out in good number to celebrate Dartmouth Night in November. After a jovial cocktail party at the home of Bob and Maru Berg '59, and while the bonfire burned on the Hanover plain, the following sat cross legged and toasted the Big Green with sat at the Mexican Japanese Club:
Jesse and Barbara Lichter '30 and daughter Elizabeth, Al and Janie Schumacker macker '31, Rollie and Belem Kent '37, Jim and Ellen Parks '39, Tom and Louise Catron '45, John and Ann Marie '49, Skip and Nina Meneely '52, Jay and Charlotte Stahl '52, Gary and Celia McKee '54, John and Anne Tansey '57, Bob and Maru Berg '59, Bob, and Anne Watson '59, Axel and Mary Grabowsky '60, Bill and Nancy Shanahan '62, Jim and Bets Cornehlsen '64' and Rollie Kent, Jr. '71.
Among items of business conducted were the personal congratulations of the Club to the past officers for their excellent work during 1971. The outgoing group comprised Axel Grabowsky as president, comprised Axel Grabowsky as Shanahan as secretary and Skip Meneely as treasurer. Mr. Grabowsky also presented slafe of officers for 1972. The following were elected: Tom Catron, president; Jay Stahl, secretary; and John Tansey, treasurer.
The new officers pledged themselves to the continued growth and spirit of Dartmouth in Mexico.
