Two articles have been born of the prolific pen of J. Almus Russell '20 since the last notice: "Wholesome Wayside Wildings" in the April issue of ThePennsylvania Game News and "Bean-Hole Beans" in North East Out-of-Doors for March.

Richard A. Parker '30 is the author of "The Calendars and Chronology," which has been reprinted from The Legacy of Egypt; "The Beginnings of the Lunar Month in Ancient Egypt" in the Journal ofNear Eastern Studies, Vol. 29, No. 4, (October, 1970); and, with Jaroslav Cerný, "An Abnormal Hieratic Tablet" in the Journal of Egyptian Archaeology, Vol. 57 (1971).

Poet David Rafael Wang '55 has written a "Quartet for Gary Snyder," which appeared in the Autumn 1971 issue of TheNew York Quarterly,
