Twenty-one Dartmouth men from classes'14 to '68 met October 26, 1973, at Old Pueblo Club to break an attendance record of several years standing. Cuisine and conversation were ma:, features of the meeting. The tray of desserts scowled at and rejected manfully by all except Joe Livermore '58, new dean of University of Arizona Law School and your reporter 42 both of whom selected items of considerable caloric merit.
New member T. J. Dunford '40, who is retiring from a film-making career in NYC, was welcomed as was Anthony J. Abruzzo 68 who is just starting a law practice in Tucson. Edwin A.Toothaker '32, Charles Adkins '32, Larry Burtis'32, (monotonous?) ventured into town from Grin Valley, (Grin Valley from commercial song "That Green Valley Grin." ed.) and were welcomed by John (president) Swenson '32. Still collecting his dues, Bob Marr '30 was in good form.
Del Worthington '26 as member of the Old Pueblo Club sponsored our get-together. Also present were Saul Deitel '35, Dr. Bill Lansberg'38, Sid Diamond '35, and Ted Hellwig '23.
Harry Holmlund '24, Jim McConnon and Herb Hawkes '34 were very much in evidence as were Ed Davidson '47, Bob Miller '44, and EvanLasky '63.
Hanover's group of traveling geologists will arrive for a special club meeting at the home of Chuck Richardson '44. Tucson has the great fortune of being a mecca for geologists, and we are anxious to welcome the eastern detachment.
