Among the community service programs in which Dartmouth students are taking part is the Norwich Day Care Center, wjriere an average of 40 children each day are taken care of for working parents. Students from the undergraduate departments of education and anthropology, and from Tuck School and the Medical School's Medex program are involved in general assistance and in carrying out studies related to pre-school children. This cooperative College-Day Care Project is one of many administered by the Dartmouth Public Affairs Center and funded by a Spaulding-Potter Fund grant of $425,000 to be expended over six., years in a variety of regional programs.
