That Dartmouth has always depended heavily on the support of her alumni or that their loyalty takes many forms will come as no surprise to anyone, but one of the most unusual manifestations of that devotion has come from Vincent Ferraro '71.
A cum laude graduate in international relations, Ferraro is currently a doctoral candidate in political science at MIT, where he is collaborating with Professor Nazli Choucri on a book, The International Politics of Energy Interdependence, to be published this summer by D. C. Heath.
Ferraro, who went through college on a scholarship established by Sigurd S. Larmon '14, wrote President Kemeny recently to say that he has assigned his share of royalties from the book to the College "to express my appreciation for the education I received at Dartmouth, and to make a small contribution toward its continued operation."
