Old Guard

Howard L. Ropes '03 celebrated his 104 th birthday on April 1 of this year. Howard lives at the Madonna Home in Brownville, N.Y. The staff there gave him a birthday party, at which were present members of the Lincoln League, a political club of which he is a member (and number one in seniority). Representatives of the Masonic Lodge #49 of Watertown were there as well. The event also warranted coverage on a local TV evening news program.
