Now that the quarterfinals of the Stanley Cup have begun, it must be very close to summer. That, too, can mean only one thing. The Alumni Fund is rapidly coming to a close, and we should again be prepared to make Bill Cahill look good. Seriously, our class has done well over the years, and I hope that we can set new records for giving. We all know that the College can use our help. I can't think of a better time to make an increase count with a new administration prepared to take office. Enough with my annual last minute pitch to bail Bill out, but since other classes may read this as well, make sure that you respond positively.

News of marriages, babies, etc., has slowed recently, which must indicate that most of us have made the decision to enter a traditional pattern of things. However, every once in a while a story trickles in of one who took a particularly circuitous route. Larry Johnson is just one of these, although I am sure to Larry the route seemed all too direct. I discovered in a local publication that Mr. and Mrs. James Keramas of Woburn, Mass., have announced the engagement of their daughter to Larry. Renita, his bride-to-be, is a psychiatric social worker at the Boston City Hospital. She graduated from Boston College and received a master's degree from BU. Larry is presently practicing as an orthopedic surgeon in Chelmsford.

That is it for now. I hope to stay close to the telephone, mailbag, and typewriter so that I can keep better tabs on all of you.
