Career moves by several of our classmates recently hit the press. The ChathamCourier reports that NancyDavis Snyder has accepted a position with the office of the Rensselaer, N.Y., county district attorney. Nancy graduated in 1983 from Albany Law School. According to the PoughkeepsieJournal, David Daniels has been named vice president of legal affairs at Vassar Brothers Hospital. David and his wife, Susan, and their offspring, Matthew and Meghan, live in Hopewell Junction, N.Y. Ana Carl Gehring has accepted a position as a senior acquisition associate of Whitehall Properties, a real estate services and investments company based in Groton, Conn. a town made famous by its production of submarines and Doug Canning.
Barbara Wiese McKinney has proposed that we publish a special class newsletter on "'79 canines." While employed as a science editor for Grolier, Inc., a reference book publisher in Danbury, Conn., Barbara has become the local expert on dog obedience training. She cohosts a weekly radio show about dogs and recently sold an article to Dog World magazine. So if any of you are having trouble keeping your pets, spouses, or kids in line, give Barbara a call. Our class has cranked out more than its share of docs. Neal Luppescu and his wife, Virginia, have left the yuppie world of Columbus Avenue, Nuevo York, to pursue the good life m Westfield, N.J. Neal will be practicing gastroenterology in the area. In May, Joe Nicolosi graduated from the Eastern Virginia Medical School and has moved to Pittsburgh to start his residency in anesthesiology. Joe Cohen has completed the first year of a fellowship in endocrinology at the U. Mass. Medical Center in Worcester. On May 14, Joe married Betty Benjevin (Lehigh '82); wedding guests include Paul Albrecht and Dysse Argy.
Martha Erickson-Eger has given birth to a second daughter, Meredith Arrel. Martha, her husband, George, and daughter Caitlin, live in Littleton, Colo., where Martha will be entering a graduate program in educational and school psychology.
The Curry family has also grown. Bob, Susie, and Erin report that on April 8 they had a son/brother, Asa Emerson. Bob is with the Field Museum of Natural History in Lake Placid, Fla.
Finally, Paul Berryman advises that in May Bill Fleming and Norma Linda Delgado exchanged vows in Austin, Tex. EvansHuber and Tom French also attended. Paul lives in Monterey, Calif., and is working on his M.S. in oceanography/meteorology.
