The Wedding Scene

DAM receives a steady flow of wedding pictures, so many, in fact, that we can't come close to publishing them all. And space limitations prohibit full identification of all participants in the representative sample we use from time to time. This, however, is not likely to reduce the number of alumni marriages—or pictures.

We go first to Lauris, France, August 1988, for the marriage of John Mugglebee '77 to Chantal Escoffier. At left are Gary Rogers '77 and Jill Eilertsen Rogers '78. At right are Roland Griggs '77 and Thelma Butz, who were married in March.

The wedding of Peter George Kachavos '82, DMS '86, and Daphne Kenyon united an alumnus with a former faculty member—she was an assistant professor of economics at the College from 1979-83.

When Rob Clark '85 (front left) married Mary-Ellen Barrett a few months back, a phalanx of other '85s joined in, along with Rob's father, Robert '54—that's him with his hand on Rob's shoulder.

Wrote Ed Winnick '54, when his daughter Beth '83 married Mike Falcone '83, "I know you are deluged with wedding photos, but I believe this one with 40 alumni present somehow distinguishes it."

A couple of dozen alums got together for the Massachusetts wedding of Margaret Warram and Dave Marder—both '85s. Nowadays Dave is lawyering and Margaret is teaching toddlers and pre-schoolers in a daycare center.
