Cardozos by the Dozen

A Cardozo family reunion that was organized last fall in Connecticut by Michael H. Cardozo IV '32 drew some 75 relatives and the attention of The New York Times. The Times reported that everyone was related in some way to Justice Benjamin Nathan Cardozo, who spent 18 years on the New York State bench and, during the 1930s, six years on the Supreme Court. The Times didn't report the solid Cardozo connection with Dartmouth, For in the picture, along with the host, you will find Michael H. Cardozo V'63, Benjamin M. Cardozo '37, Richard H. Cardozo '42, and Peter S. Cardozo '39. Sidney Cardozo '38, who lives in Japan, didn t make it.
