This may be the last communication regarding the Reunion that you receive before the Reunion itself. With three months to go (when you read this there will only be about one month), we already have over 800 '64s, their spouses, significant others, and children attending. Thadd Seymour has decided that this is one event that shouldn't be missed and he and his wife let us know that they have definitely decided to come.

At present Pete Benzian, Newell Grant, and Jack Kaufmann are returning with at least four kids in tow. I thought that Chris Palmer might join that select group but he indicates only three of his four will be returning to Hanover.

From the list of people indicating a definite intention to attend the reunion, the vast majority plan to make it a family weekend by bringing their children. The children and teen programs are guaranteed to keep the kids exhausted and happy. Additionally, there will be plenty going on to keep us exhausted and happy.

In 1969 Bill Teska was ordained as an Episcopal priest in Minneapolis. At that time, his ordination was attended by a cavalcade of motorcyclists dressed in tuxedos and a bishop who arrived in a touring car. Back then Bill was known as the "Hippie Priest," since he identified, and was identified so closely with, the positive aspects of the counterculture values in his community. Recently, as he prepared to leave his ministry to join the Christie Institute in Washington, D.C., Minneapolis Mayor Don Fraser, proclaimed "Father Bill Teska Day" to honor his years of service to his community. The Christie Institute is a nondenominational "think tank" and publicinterest law firm. He characterized his work in Minneapolis as an urban ministry concentrating on the poor and oppressed.

I'll see you in Hanover. June 15-18. Be there!
