After a weekend of watching the hearings, I found myself observing the final Supreme Court confirmation vote in the presence of a Dartmouth group offering

commentary. Originally scheduled to meet at Sam Ostrow's office at Rowland Company to discuss the alumni fund in this our reunion year, we began by following the Senate vote. As you can guess, a meeting of HowieSharfstein Jack Harris, Hugh Freund, JimPeck, Dave Lowenstein, and Sam Ostrow offered many diverse opinions with so many '67 lawyers in one room.

The Reunion Alumni Fund committee has been hard at work. The class executive committee approved the goal of $1,367,000. The funds are most important to the College, and we are confident that with everyone's participation, we can make this happen. Right now there is a need for volunteers to work on regional committees in Boston, Washington, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Willing to help? Called Howie Sharfstein or Sam Ostrow And whatever you do, save June 18-21 to be at the reunion. Paul Killebrew reports that after the first mailing 150 people responded immediately that they are coming.
