Even though the writer was unable to get there, Class Officers Weekend in early May seems to have been surprisingly successful Among our own officers' accomplishments were the appointment of EdFlanders to replace the late Ken Graff on the Executive Committee, the designation of the Yale game weekend this fall for our mini-reunion, and the raising of class dues to $25. The last may seem like a doubtful accomplishment. It is, in fact, more a recognition of nature's immutable law: the fewer, the higher (and vice versa). Unfortunately, the mini-reunion may not materialize. It seems the Norwich Inn has changed hands, renovations are not expected to be timely, and other convenient accommodations are not available. Stay tuned. Van Van Riper reports that Alumni Fund collections are coming along at a little better than last year's rate, with widows' contributions a large factor. Final results are not available at this writing.

Curly Prosser reports that so far he has received 33 positive responses to his request to hear from those who plan to attend the 65th. This is not bad considering that, worldwide, we have only 127 living and breathing classmates left, out of an original 804.

Michael J. Amaloo, assistant director of the Office of Financial Aid, wrote us listing the accomplishments of the recipients of our class Memorial Scholarships and proposing replacements for the graduates. Bret E. Megargel '91, a member of the co-champion varsity football team and Alpha Delta, is now pursuing a master's at the London School of Economics. Herbert A. Anderson '91 was a member of Green Key and Theta Delta Chi and participated in varsity football and track. Eagle Glassheim '92 was named to the Second Honors Group, was active in the Outing Club and Cabin and Trail, and is the grandson of RedSanborn. Sara Petters '92, co-captain of the women's soccer team, is specializing in Asian Studies and hopes to teach English in China. Charlene Stockbridge '93 is majoring in French. Bob Tessing '93 will major in Psychology. All have maintained high scholastic averages.

I regret to report the death of Parker Noyes on April 20. I also have `a late report of the death of Andrew Wakeman on November 13, 1987.
