Dartmouth Rules the Waves

WHAT ARE THE ODDS that land locked Dartmouth could beat teams from Harvard and even Navy in sailing? The Dartmouth Sailing Team did it.

Charleston, South Carolina, was host as the Dartmouth teams sailed by defending champion Navy. Kristin Doyle '94 led the women's team to the National Collegiate Women's Sailing Championship on June 3 by winning the "B" division. Three days later, in what was termed "ablowout," Chris Mcdowell'94and Brandon Pryor '95 won the"A" division national championship as the varsity sailing team won the National Cosllegiate Dinghy Championship, while John "B" division runners-up.
