A few good men from our class have had interesting careers in medicine. Many of them graduated from the Dartmouth Medical School. Class Notes for that group in the quarterly magazine Dartmouth Medicine are skillfully written by Lew Chipman. To keep in touch with medical affairs at DHMC Lew makes an occasional visit to the Hanover area. During his latest excursion he enjoyed checking out the snow at Woodstock, Attitash, and Sunday River.

In recognition of his special help to the success of the football team, John Manley was awarded an Ivy League Football Championship ring, his third!

At the Leede Arena there are many banners to honor championship basketball teams, but none for our era. To rectify this, our class has been asked to provide one for 1940 (at a cost of less than one dollar per classmate). President Sam Williams contacted several class officers and others, and the verdict was unanimous—go for it!

Jack and Alice Fitzgerald enjoyed meeting the new Mrs. Ted Kennedy and were very impressed with her charm and warm personality. Our man in Arkansas, Julian Blass, must be pleased with the recent election. Either he is happy that Bill Clinton is our new President, or else he is happy that Bill is no longer governor of Arkansas.
