Coach Bob Gaudet '75 singlehandedly led Brown's hockey program the worst (1-25) in Division One in 1988 to the NCAA tournament in 1993. Greeners fondly remember Gaudet as the All Ivy goaltender who led Dartmouth to Ivy titles and the NCAA Final Four in 1979 and 1980. He's also known as the guy who spent four seasons vociferously baiting opponents and cheerleading for his teammates. Honing those traits into career skills has paid off for Gaudet. He is recognized as one of the brightest and loudest coaches in all of college hockey.
Gaudet loudly turned around the Brownhockey program.
