1921

Foremost on my list of Dartmouth women from the class of 1921 is Mrs.Ellis D. Briggs, better known as "Lucy Briggs." She is widow of Ellis O.Briggs, and for many years was secretary of '21. She sought and collected news of '21 members, widows, families, which she regularly sent in for publishing in the alumni magazine. She lives at Kendal #248 in Hanover. I used to help her gather suitable news, and finally she retired because her own college wanted her to serve in a similar fashion. And so it now is, but she continues to live in Hanover, where, at Kendal, she sees our own Ort Hicks, and has dinner with him now and then.
