A quick piece of news and then a bunch of reminders. Brooke Jackson has been nominated by Colorado Governor Roy Romer to serve on the Jefferson County District Court. Brooke will be sworn in on October 19. This means Brooke will be able to attend Homecoming and make it back in plenty of time for the ceremony.
Although our plans are a little sketchy right now, I will make the assumption that we will follow last year's schedule. Friday night, October 16, there will be a reception at the Hanover Inn right around bonfire time. Sometime Saturday morning there will be a class meeting somewhere in Dartmouth Hall. We will have our pre-game party on Heorot's lawn, sharing a tent with the 70s. Finally, there will be a dinner at Jesse's at 7 p.m. The only affair I need numbers for is the Saturday night dinner. Let me know if you plan to attend. Sorry about the meager details. Feel free to e-mail, write, or call me if you need to know the specifics.
We are now in the second year of official fund-raising for our class project. The surcharge on your class dues is going towards funding a class of 1969 study room in the soon-to-be-constructed Berry Library. Your support is needed. Enough said.
Remember our 30th Reunion June 17- 20, 1999. Take care and write.
