Now here's Darcey's rundown on what these and other fine Dartmouth folks are doing lately: We begin with Darcey and Chris, who are currendy living in NYC. Darcey works for Morgan Stanley & Co., and Chris works for J. H. Whitney & Co. a venture capital firm. As for other weddings, Darcey writes that Martha Kiddoo married Kurt Krieg in Vail, Colo., last August. The two are "helping run the mountain" Martha through her post as a VA liaison and Kurt as the planner of World Cup Ski Races and the 1999 Alpine Championships. In July '97 Ted Kovas married Elissa Raether in Greenwich, Conn. After a European honeymoon the couple drove to San Francisco, where they now reside. When Darcey wrote me in the spring, Stacia Smith was planning a July 4th wedding to Nick Branca in Vail, Colo. so I guess it's congratulations to Stacia by now! Stacia and Nick live in NYC. Amy (Brown) and Brendan Bowler recendy celebrated the birth of their first child, Michael Patrick. The proud parents currendy live in Alexandria, Va.; Amy is in her second year at Georgetown Law, and Brendan is working for an environmental consulting firm in D.C. As for non-wedding news, Mchael Cicerone has moved from D.C. to NYC to work for the Royal Bank of Canada. Ian Picache has left NYC for San Francisco, where he is working for a start-up telecom venture capital firm. Darcey also points out that lan caught the bouquet at their wedding last fall, so I guess that means he really wants to be next. Ladies, step up. Walter Wukasch is in D.C. working for the House Ways and Means Committee. Marshall Bass is working for N.H. Congressman John Sununu Jr. Andy Awad lives in Stamford, Conn., and works for Greenwich Associates. Kevin Nielson is also in Stamford working for GE Capital. Ildiko Shinkle moved out of NYC into the 'burbs but continues to work for Cromwell Partners, a prominent New York headhunter. After two years in Colorado Sarah Power and Liz York have returned to the East Coast, where Liz is at Vermont Law, and Sarah is working for a direct marketing firm in Boston. Sarah's roommates are Sheila Bassiri, who does sales at Capital Advisors Group, and Sarah Cook, who is in med school. Jane Eckels has started her corporate law career at DWT in Seatde and lives with Debbie Haferman, who has spent the past year producing jingles and muzak and taking pre-med classes. Jessica Tarnow is in her first year at Columbia Business School. Beth Covitt is working on a master's degree at the University of Michigan (perhaps Ph.D. by now). Amy Nevin is in her fourth year at Chicago Med School; Dawn Matthews begins her final year at George Washington Law. Sally Lim is currendy living in California and taking "some sort of classes" out there. Thank you, Darcey. And that, my friends, is what I call correspondence. Please send me some more...
