Happy fall! In education excitement, Jane Serene is joining Stephanie Fish at Proctor Academy (just down the road from Dartmouth) this fall, where the two are teaching English and Spanish, respectively. In financial news, Kate Knight is working at Unitus, a micro-finance firm in Seattle; Tim Wright is working at Longworth Venture Partners in Boston; and Katie Miller is working for a financial services firm in Vienna, Virginia.

In athletic news, Kristin Luckenbill, playing for the Carolina Courage, was nominated for an ESPY award for Best Female Soccer Player! Joe Mclntyre is biking through Canada from Anchorage, en route to Falmouth, Maine. Katie Stewart ran the Vermont City Marathon in Burlington this spring. She also writes, "A big congrats to DREAM Inc. for purchasing a great piece of land for a summer camp for DREAMers! They're making huge strides in growing DREAM from the organization they founded at Dartmouth to a statewide Vermont operation!" See dreamprogram.org for more info.

Margaret Grace's theater troupes second Seattle Fringe Festival entry,Mommy Abula'sMiraculous Traveling Carnival of Wonders, is in performance this September. In other arts news, Lindsay Maclndoe played Carnegie Hall in June! Part of a small Berklee Music School string group, she played with "great jazz guys like Charlie Haden, Michael Brecker and the Ornette Coleman Trio."

In wonderful news, Adrian Loehwing is heading to grad school at the University of Cambridge in England! Also venturing overseas, Alissa McFarlin is joining Patrick Griffin at Trinity College in Dublin this fall. They are pursuing Ph.D.s in philosophy and medieval history, respectively. Giulia Good Stefani is in Berlin on a Reynolds Scholarship, interning at the German Parliament.

Grad school happenings on this continent: Lucy Goddard and Matt Egalka are at Yale Medical School, Albert Lee is off to Stanford for his M.B.A., Michelle Chui is starting NYU Law School, Dan Pollock is at Georgetown Law, and Jennifer Lee is doing an M.A. in international public health in Seattle. In Boston, Bradford Crevier is beginning Northeastern Law School and Jeremy Fineman is starting a Ph.D. in computer science at MIT. Rachel Richardson is finishing her M.F.A. in poetry this year at the University of Michigan, and Derek Lee is joining the fiction section of the program. Rachel was recently published in the literary magazines Witness and Antioch Review.

Sherryta Freeman, with an M.A. in sport management from UMass Amherst, is now an assistant in the intercollegiate athletics office at Dartmouth. Veronica Ramsey is pursuing her M.A. in counseling psychology at Boston College and working as a personal trainer at the Beacon Hill Athletic Club. Gloriana Gallegos has started a molecular, cellular and developmental biology doctoral program in Santa Cruz (and she's going to learn to surf). Tahir Golden recently accepted the call to ministry and is beginning his studies at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. Best of luck to all!

South and east of the border: Connie Jones earned her M.A. in Latin American studies at George Washington University and is now in Costa Rica, working at the Central American Business School, doing research on rural and sustainable development. Gene Long is in Cameroon, teaching English with the Peace Corps.

In nuptial news, Kelly Keene and Adam Horst '00 were married in Hanover at Rollins Chapel in August, Sarah Honorowski and JT Mohr'03 were married in Vermont in August, and Colin Fox and Melissa Mangan were married in Connecticut in July. All the couples had many Dartmouth alums in attendance! Dave Latham was recently engaged to high school sweetheart Rachele Ghigliazza, who is pursuing a master's of education at UC Berkeley. Congratulations to all!

I'm happily ensconced in my master's of ed at Lesley University in Cambridge, and living with fellow teacher Matt Deninger in our new apartment with a balcony and a view! Happy fall to all.
