Hello all! This issue's plea for 01 updates saw my inbox bursting at the seams. My approach, therefore, will be that of the crazy fast-talking guy who did the Micro Machines commercials when I was in elementary school. Take a deep breath.

Alex Grishman coached lacrosse at a camp on the shores of Lake Champlain this summer. Ali Waggener and Brewster Boyd (Middlebury '00) were married in August in the sunshine on top of a mountain in Keystone, Colorado. Alisa Beck was engaged to Scott Harrison this summer. They're planning a New Hampshire wedding for next fall! Athena Waligore is living in Brooklyn, practicing photography and working for education funding reform at The Alliance for Quality Education.

Danielle Davey is beginning a second year teaching English at a high school in Raleigh, North Carolina. Dave Castleman has started law school at UPenn.

Elena Ghanotakis is in Buenos Aires on a Dickey Foundation grant,working at the University of Buenos Aires Law School. Emily Nielsten has recently been promoted to senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston. Emmett Hogan is working at Kirkland & Ellis law firm. Erica Frankenberg is starting a doctoral program in education at Harvard and will be working with the Civil Rights Project there. Erick Viorritto is at medical school at George Washington University and was recently engaged to sweetheart Irene Beaupre. They will be married in the summer!

George Spinner is an internal consultant for a financial institution in Cleveland. Greg Chittim is a software developer at the Monitor Group in Boston. James Kittredge was married to Heather Kofke-Egger '02 at Rollins in July! A fantastic outdoor reception followed at the DOC House on Occom, with several Sigma Nu alums in attendance. Jane Parkin is an environmental consultant in Boston and pursuing a masters in environmental and water resources engineering at Tufts. Jocelyn Leavitt is teaching social studies at a prep school on Kaua'i, Hawaii.

Karl Polifka appeared in the All You Can Eat Theatre Company's production of Patrick Marber's Closer in N.Y.C. in September. Katie Wade is studying for a master s in translation at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She has a snazzy place in downtown Madrid and welcomes visitors! Kristin Romberg dropped by Kate Collins' Alaskan campground program on moose in Denali National Park this summer.

Laura Duncan is beginning a master's of architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. [See also p.30.] Matt Colman is now at Chicago med school. Margaret Grace was engaged to James Mills '00 while kayaking on a lake in Maine. They will be married in Seattle in May! Meg Fuchs is at Harvard Divinity School after two years teaching English with the Peace Corps in Cape Verde, West Africa.

Mike Foote announced, "Brooke Lierman is running the Howard Dean campaign for Wisconsin! Completely amazing." Indeed. Parker Prueft, Bill Peter, Chris Relyea, Erik Wright and Anderson Schoenrock are in California, and have taken up surfing. Paul Nicklas just started law school at the University of Virginia. Pam Crikeiair qualified for the world long drive finals in golf and hopes to go pro in November. Robin DeGracia was engaged to Siva Sankaranarayanan in July and is moving to San Jose, California, in the new year. Congratulations!
