ln case you haven't gotten the word, the special mini-reunion in Concord, Massachusetts, in April of this year has been rescheduled for next year, 2007. The reason is that the weekend of Massachusetts' Patriots Day falls this year on Easter weekend. Tom Ruggles and Janot will continue to work on activities for the 2007 event. Next fall the mini-reunion in Hanover is scheduled for the weekend of October 13 with the Big Green playing Holy Cross.
It was great to see Bill Pulley and Martha Lee in Hanover for the mini-reunion and the ceremony in honor of Frank Harrington, who received the Dartmouth College Alumni Award. They still live in Oxford, Ohio, and have a second home in the mountains of Cashiers, North Carolina. Bill sold his family dry-cleaning business and foreight years was involved in extensive travel as executive director of the International Dry-cleaners Congress, retiring in 2005. In October John Caldwell was inducted into the Vermont Ski Museums Hall of Fame. Others honored were Tim Caldwell '76, Warren Chivers '38 and Martha Rockwell, Dartmouth coach from 1979 to 1988.
Quentin Kopp' 49 sent a long biography of Fritz Jewett that appeared in his yacht club's pages just prior to Fritz's induction in October 2005 into the Bristol, Rhode Island, Herreschoff Marine Museums' Americas Cup Hall of Fame. An ardent sailor and philanthropist, he has been actively involved in several worldwide Americas Cup sailing races. He and his wife, Lucy, live in San Francisco. That's it. Send me some tidbits for the next issue.
