George Colton writes that he just seems to go with the flow. Doesn't see any classmates and no traveling. Hopes life is more exciting for most of you. Then I called him up and had a nice phone conversation, following which he mailed me a brochure showing the fantastic new acquisitions by the Hood, so I guess he has and can have more interests than he realizes.

John M, Magee says he is going strong, but his cat is driving him crazy, walking around his head until he lets her out 5:30 a.m. The latest: Spurning a litter box. Can't stand music, as he has become tone deaf, but ce'st la vie. Both Eric Hawke and Bob McKee sent a clipping of an obit for Babs Bankhart. She was quite a gal.

Ralph Spechts' better half says she was sorry she could not attend the 70th as it was too close to Ralphs passing, due to a broken hip. After three operations his bones and heart gave out. Greetings from Lee Howe (wife of John); still hanging in there with multiple complaints but happy hearts. They moved into a new all-care village in Gainsville, Florida. I have their new address and phone number. Gerald W. Wertz, after 34 years in McHenry, moved to a studio apartment in a retirement complex. His daughter Pat, who lives nearby, helped him settle in with all new furnishings. He still rides a bike on a 50-mile trail. When he can't ride a two-wheeler, he says he will go to a three-wheeler, but he is happy to be one of the 94 survivors. I have his new address and phone number. My thanks to all of you who got in touch.
