ACHIEVEMENTS AND HONORS

Harvey Tettlebaum '64, chair of Husch & Eppenberger's health law practice group in Jefferson, Missouri, has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the category of health care law.

Heinz Kluetmeier '65, who photographed Dartmouth athletics and events at the Hopkins Center as a student, was awarded the Lucie Award for outstanding achievement in sports photography. He has worked for SportsIllustrated for almost 40 years and is currently the senior staff photographer for the magazine.

Anne Patterson 'BO earned the 2007 Professional Lawyer of the Year Award by the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law. She heads the products liability practice for Morristown, New Jersey-based law firm RikeDanzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti.

Marshall "Buzz" Land Jr. '67, M.D., a clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of Vermont College of Medicine, has been named UVM's first R. James McKay Jr., M.D. Green & Gold Professor in Pediatrics.

John T. Bird '77 of Birmingham, Alabama, has written a poem, "Last Monday in May," chosen by the U.S. White House Commission on Remembrance for its Web site, www.remember.gov.

Tyler Stableford '96 of Carbondale, Colorado, won Black & White magazine's Picture of the Year award. (He recently earned the same honors from Communication Arts and Applied Arts magazines.)

Dominic Seiterle '98 became a world champion at the 2007 World Rowing Championships in Munich, Germany, winning the gold medal as part of the Canadian heavyweight eight. Seiterle raced in the Canadian double in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games and is currently training for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
