Notices of a number of offers of Graduate Fellowships have recently been received.

The Commission for Relief in Belgium Educational Foundation announces six fellowships carrying stipends of 15,000 francs and tuition fees to be awarded for the year 1925-1926, for which applications will be received by the Fellowship Committee at 42 Broadway, New York City, until February IS, 1925. These fellowships are open to graduates of recognized colleges who are American citizens having a thorough speaking and reading knowledge of French, who are capable of independent study or research, and who are in good health. The fellowships may be held in a wide variety of subjects.

Application blanks may be obtained from Dr. Stephen P. Duggan, Director of the Institute of International Education, 532 Fifth Ave., New York City, for the Willard Straight Research Fellowship for Study in China which carries a yearly stipend of $2000 for a period of three years. This announcement is of interest chiefly to those who intend to specialize on work in the Orient.

The Society for American Field Service Fellowships for French Universities will offer for open competition among graduates of American colleges and others suitably qualified, a number of fellowships not to exceed ten for the purpose of encouraging advanced study and research in French universities during 1925-26. The fellowships, of the annual value of $1200, are for one year and renewable for a second. Information regarding these fellowships may also be obtained from Dr. Duggan at the address mentioned above.
