Rev. Charles E. Beals, late instructor in Grèk, English, and vocal culture in Bangor Theological Seminary, has become pastor of the Congregational church of Eastport, Me.

Samuel L. Barnes is secretary in a cement manufactory, at Baker, Wash.

Solon J. Vail, who took a course in agriculture at Cornell after graduation, is manager of a farm at South Royalton, Vt.

Arthur H. Leavitt has been appointed student interpreter at the United States embassy in Constantinople, and sailed for Turkey July 1.

Harry R. Wellman, for the past two years supervisor of college dormitories, has resigned this position to become secretary of the Merchants' Exchange of Boston.

Harry Robert Heneage, who is in the employ of the Bethlehem Steel Co., South Bethlehem, Pa., was married September 29, at the home of the bride's parents, Judge and Mrs. Frank Clark Brooks, 6548 Washington Boulevard, Oak Park, Ill., to Miss Marguerite Elizabeth Stearns.
