CLASS OF 1902

The MAGAZINE has already referred to the tragic end last June in California's high Sierras of Kenneth Archibald of this class. His father, Rev. Andrew W. Archibald, D.D., of Newton Center, Mass., has previously appeared as the author of two books, "The Bible Verified," and "The Trend of the Centuries." Through a Boston publisher, he has just brought out a third volume, "The Easter Hope." Six chapters on different aspects of the resurrection are preceded by a portrait and a biographical sketch of the son, who so mysteriously disappeared, and whose body has never been recovered.

Lawrence D. Varney of Dover, N. H., won the second prize in the tri-county checker tournament recently held for the championship of Strafford, Rockingham, and York counties.
