CLASS OF 1884

Ernest Howard has resigned his position as senior editorial writer and assistant managing editor of the Springfield Republican, and has joined the staff of the New York World as editorial writer. He has been connected with the Republican since his graduation. For most of this time he has been an editorial writer, paying particular attention to economic and financial questions, and on these subjects he has come to be recognized as one of the leading authorities and commentators of the American press.

H. Lee Hatch has removed from Strafford to Randolph, Vt. He was appointed by Governor Mead of Vermont a delegate to the Partners' National Congress, which met in Columbus, Ohio, October 12.
