The fifth annual report of the Tucker Alumni Scholarship and Instruction Fund contains information of interest to the alumni. The number of contributors and total amount given is slightly in excess of last year though in neither case approaching the figures of the first two years. The statistics by years are as follows;
Year No. contributors Amt. rec'd 1906-1907 553 $5,147.10 1907-1908 686 6,250.44 1908-1909 423 3,671.90 1910-1910 327 3,298.75 1910-1911 376 3,439.70 Total $21,807.89
The decrease in contributions in the last two or three years may easily be accounted for by the fact that other demands were being made upon the alumni by the College. These demands have now largely ceased, while the need of an enlarged income is as imperative as ever. Here is a chance for each alumnus to give some practical aid to the effort to increase the .efficiency and the sphere of influence of the College.
