The busy carving of senior canes, the many announcements emanating from the Executive Committee of the senior class, and finally the initial march to Chapel in caps and gowns, all give evidence that Commencement is not far off.

The gun team has begun spring practice in preparation for the four matches tentatively scheduled. Trials for a freshman team are to be held over the club's traps within the next two weeks.

The Dartmouth is to celebrate the seventy-fifth anniversary of its founding. In one form or another the "official undergraduate newspaper of the college" has been published continuously since 1839. It is the oldest college newspaper in existence. A banquet will be held May 23 to which past editors and representatives of other papers will be invited.
