The April number of THE MAGAZINE gave, under the report of the meeting of the Secretaries, some statistics presented by Professor C. D. Adams, on the basis of the last General Catalogue, as to the number of graduates of the New Dartmouth who are now in college teaching. In the list as reported to THE MAGAZINE only a part of the figures presented were included. In justice to the departments all the figures should be given.
The statistics have been revised with the help of the heads of departments. The classes included are '94 to '06. Only men who took their Bachelor's degree at Dartmouth are included. Men who have done college teaching for a time, but have now gone into other work, are not counted. In Medicine only those are counted who give their entire time to teaching. Many others are lecturing in medical colleges.
