The Reverend William Watson Ranney was formally installed as pastor of the College Church on the evening of November 13, to fill the vacancy left by the Reverend Robert C. Falconer, who resigned to take up war work in France. The sermon of installation was preached by the Reverend H. C. Herring, D.D., secretary of the National Council of Congregational Churches. The Reverend E. R. Stearns, secretary of the New Hampshire Conference of Congregational Churches; the Reverend D. Fraser, of Wells River, Vt.; the Reverend G. H. Reed of Concord, and the Reverend A. W. Vernon of Brookline, Mass., were other speakers.
