On March 14, 1916, twelve loyal Dartmouth supporters of this locality met and formed an organization to be known as the Dartmouth Club of Pittsfield and Vicinity, and we have been meeting from time to time since that date. On May 2, 1916, we had an open meeting, to which . the juniors and seniors of the high schools in this vicinity were invited. Mr. Gray Knapp, secretary of the College, came down here to Pittsfield with his lantern slides and gave us a good talk.
The name of the organization is, as I have already said, "The Dartmouth Club of Pittsfield and Vicinity," and the officers are Rev. L. D. Bliss, president, and L. B. Hopkins, secretary and treasurer.
