Mark White Reed, Dartmouth 1912, is author of the play, "She Would and She Did", which has been produced recently at the Vanderbilt theatre, New York city. It was on Reed's return from France that he learned of his manuscript's acceptance for production by Miss Grace George.

"She Would and She Did" is described as an extremely light comedy, concerning itself with the suspension of a young woman from a golf club after she had dug up its turf with her mashie during a fit of anger. Miss George is playing that part.

Reed spent two years at Harvard as a graduate student, working especially in English 47 under Professor George P. Boker. Later he was one of those who established "The Prairie Playhouse" at Galesburg, Ill.
