YALE AND BRIDGEPORT TOUCH UP SWORDSMEN

Dartmouth's fencing team was defeated by the Yale foilsmen March 12, in the afternoon, 10-7, and by the Bridgeport Fencing Club at Bridgeport, 20-7, in the evening. In the Yale meet Weld was the star of the contest, winning all three of his foil matches, while Flertzberg gave the best exhibition in the sabre bouts, defeating both his opponents.

In the tilt with Bridgeport, which was not considered a collegiate meet, the Green squad met some of the stiffest opposition of the season. Bridgeport won, 6-3 in the foils, 7-2 in the epee, and 7-2 in the sabres.
