Albert H. Washburn, professor of Political Science and International Law, who is at present the United States minister to Austria, while on leave of absence from Dartmouth, has been appointed by President Harding to represent the United States at the International Law Conference at the Hague. Professor Washburn will assist John Bassett Moore, the other United States representative at the conference.

With the sanction of President Harding, Professor Washburn will also preside over the Arbitration Commission formed for the purpose of settling disputes between Jugoslavia and Austria relative to pre-war contracts.
