ACTIVITIES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF MUSIC

The Department of Music has had an exceptionally active year and has presented numerous attractive concerts to the college community. On practically every Tuesday while College was in session since the first of December, music of a high grade has been available to all who wished to hear it. The following is a list of the musicales from October to April:

October 24 — Organ recital by Warren D. Allen.

November 5 — Concert by the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

November 21 — Organ recital by Prof. Maurice F. Longhurst.

December 5 - Violin and pianoforte recital

by Charles E. Griffith, Jr., and Mrs. Wallace M. Ross.

January 12—Song recital by Riccardo Martin

January 16—Organ recital by Charles R. Cronham.

January 23 — Musicale by students of Dartmouth College.

February 13 — Pianoforte recital by Mrs. Louis L. Silverman.

February 20 — Song recital by Miss May Korb.

February 27 — Organ recital by Prof. Harry B. Jepson.

March S — Organ recital by Edwin H. Lemare.

March 6 — Chamber Music by the Inn Trio. March 13 — Organ recital by Mr. Charles R. Cronham.

March 18 — Piano recital by Mrs. Stella Hadden Alexander.

March 19 — Violin recital by Mischa Eiman. March 27 — Concert by the College Orchestra.

April 17 — Chamber Music by the 1924 String Octette.
