April, 1923

A plaque is awarded by the College each year to that school whose delegation in the freshman class obtains the highest average scholastic standing during the first semester. A condition of the award must be that the delegation number at least three men and that to be counted with any school delegation a student must have spent his last school year at that school. The delegation from Apdover, consisting of four men—Carlos Eben Allen, Jr., Valley City, N. D.; James Henry Grady, Fargo, N. D.; John. Glenn Hartigan, Chicago, Ill.; Richard Wellington Husband, Jr., Hanover, N. H. — attained an average standing of 2.85.

Second in the competition was the Brockton High School of Brockton, Massachusetts, which sent five boys with an average standing of 2.76.

The third place was won by the Northampton High School of Northampton, Massachusetts.
