The class of 1925 led in the number of men achieving scholastic distinction for the second semester of the year 1923-24. Of the junior class 14% of its members were ranked at 3.2 or better while but 13.4% of the 1924 class achieved the cherished Phi Beta Kappa rating. The record of the lower classes was considerably poorer. But 7% of the sophomores and 5.7% of the freshmen qualified.
Following the custom of recent years the names of the men so rated were published in a little booklet and distributed to the members of the College.
