The annual football game between Harvard and Dartmouth was played October 25, 1924. As has been the custom for the past two years, the class met at the University Club in Boston soon after our victory of six points with nothing on the other side of the ledger.

Those members living within reasonable distance in New England and New York were notified of this round-up and were urged to make the gathering as large and festive as possible, but circumstances prevented some coming at the last moment.

A dinner was served in the Rotunda adjoining the main dining room where the class of 1911 held its dinner. Those present were: L. C. Cox and wife, Randall and wife, Richards and wife, Young and wife, Whitaker and wife, Dimick and Miss Barrett, Lakeman, Laycock, C- H. Richardson.

Regrets were sent by several members and a telegram was received from "Blondie" Gay. Reports on the Yale game were given in detail by several members who attended and nearly all present were to see the Brown game.

With the seductive jazz produced by the class of 1911, it became apparent that there were no old members at the '96 dinner, as the participation in the dance was general.

Robert L. Frost, who has held the chair of Erlglish literature at Amherst College for some time, has resigned to accept the fellowship in letters at the University of Michigan. This fellowship has been specially created for Mr. Frost, which exists for life and gives him full freedom to write with no special attaching duties. All living expenses are to be paid out of this fellowship, which leaves America's poet unhampered in his work.

Dr. Wm. M. Gay, major in the army of the World War, who has been located for years at the U.S.V. Hospital at Oteen, N. C., has recently been transferred to Hospital 96 at Tupper Lake, N. Y., where he is in charge of doctors, nurses, and equipment covering about 500 patients.
