Additional solace for the defeat of the Harvard football team at the hands of Dartmouth was obtained by the Crimson harriers who as well as the soccer team gained victory at the expense of the Green on October 25. The hill and dale men had the favorable end of an 18 to 37 score. Captain Osgood was the first Dartmouth man to finish, placing third. On the same day the 1928 cross-country team bowed to the Crimson yearlings by the same score.
