EDUCATIONAL POLICY HEAD INVESTIGATES IN EUROPE

prof. L. B. Richardson of the Chemistry pepartment and N. L. Goodrich, college librarian, sailed for Europe March 23 on the steamship Ausonia, to be gone until some time in July. Professor Richardson, who is chairman of the faculty committee on educational policy, will investigate educational conditions in the European universities while Mr. Goodrich will investigate and study books and will visit all the great European libraries.

Professor Richardson has been away from Hanover for several months working for the committee. He has made a thorough study of conditions in New England and previous to that went as far west as Missouri and Illinois. On the European trip he will visit Oxford and Cambridge, as well as other English institutions, and if time permits he may go into the Continent to complete his investigations.
