Below are some notes on the happenings in Chicago during the last month.
On the 14th, a joint meeting with Michigan was held, which proved very enjoyable. These joint meetings have become somewhat of a habit of the Chicago Alumni Association, and it is a habit we believe is well worth while, in fact we suggest that any alumni association in another city that can conveniently do so stage a joint meeting with some of the other college alumni associations.
The entire Association was deeply affected by tne news of the death of Thorndike Hilton, son of Henry H. Hilton of the class of 1890. At the last meeting of the Association a committee, consisting of Russ Palmer 1910, Pat Conway 1897, and Henry J. Urion 1912, was appointed to take appropriate action for the Association.
As an aftermath of the Pow Wow, the names of Sidney E. Junkins, class 1887, Vancouver B. C., and W. C. Batchellor, 1919, of Chicago, should be added to the list of those who attended. It might also be of interest to know that after all returns were in and all bills paid there was a balance of $197.68 left from the Pow Wow funds and turned over to the treasurer of the Alumni Association.
