Mrs. John M. French is to be at Stout Institute, Menomonie, Wis.

Horace H. Sears, lawyer and engineer, has opened an office at 120 Broadway, Room 1719. He specializes in bond issues of corporations requiring knowledge of engineering.

Herbert A. Miller, head of the department of sociology at Oberlin, takes a chair at Ohio State University, beginning in September, 1924.

Frank C. Staley has just been promoted to the headship of the Dead Letter Division of the Post Office Department at Washington.

Prof. Leon A. Woodman of the Missouri School of Mines is teaching for the summer in the University of Tennessee, at Knoxville.
