HOWARD CLARK DAVIS GIVES NEW FIELD HOUSE

Just prior to the Dartmouth-Harvard football game at Cambridge, October 24, and following the meeting of the Board of Trustees, announcement was made by the Trustees of the acceptance of the gift of a Field House to supplement Alumni Gymnasium. The Field House is the gift of Howard Clark Davis 'O6 of Lynnfield, Mass., and will be built at a cost not to exceed $lOO,OOO.

This addition to the athletic equipment of the College will be planned to provide quarters for varsity teams and visiting teams, locker rooms, shower rooms, rooms for headquarters for coaches, rooms for training equipment, the training table, and other quarters for an athletic system which has outgrown the gymnasium.

Plans for the new building are alraedy well under way and the ALUMNI MAGAZINE will give more detailed information in regard to the structure in an early issue.
