William M. Leavitt, a non-graduate member of the class, who has been for a long time an assistant foreman "in the Government Printing Office in Washington, has arrived at the age when retirement from government service is compulsory, and will now be classed as retired." He finds plenty of interests, however, in the suburb of Takoma in which his home lies, and is busy with various activities, as trustee of a large Presbyterian church, member of the building committee of a Masonic lodge which is putting up a new temple, and treasurer of a large and active horticultural club.
