Word has come of the death of Mrs. Hattie Ellen (Titus) Gile at her home in Littleton, N. H., on April 26. Those who were able to participate in the most recent reunions of the class had come to know her through her presence with her husband, Ray T. Gile, and to form a high regard for her. Her husband died in January, 1939, and her life since must have been lonely, as they had no children. Gile was one of our oldest members, but his wife was still older, having observed her 94th birthday on the 8th of last October. They both were people of a high type of character, and were greatly esteemed in the town where the greater part of their lives was spent.
